I had to stop by The Evil Empire last night to do some late night shopping. What caught my eye was 3 isles of Clearance Merchandise right in the front of the store. Usually it's hard to find great Clearance deals at The Evil Empire, but I'm in it for the thrill of the hunt. Let's see what I found...First, the Rumble Pack for my Nintendo DS for an incredibly low $2.00!
And then a Star Wars Collectible Action Figure of Princess Leia. Here's a secret when if comes to buying action figures. The main market for toys is kids. Action Figures such as Star Wars and Transformers and marketed mainly toward little boys. Little boys don't like to play with female action figures, so the female action figures are produced at a lower amount than the male action figures. This make the female action figures more rare and more collectible. I picked this one up for $4.00, saving 60% off the suggested retail price.
Everything else in these so called clearance isles seems greatly over priced. I sure some one will still buy it though, or the price will drop even further.
