Back From Vacation

I had a good vacation this month. It was one of those R & R deals. Got to see a lot a scenery and did a few things that I always wanted to.

Unfortunately, the little shopping that I did get a chance to do yielded no results. There were no super bargains to be found. At least none I could live without. Even in an Outlet mall, the best deals I could find was a small screwdriver set and a toy screw driver set. Both were under a buck, but I need neither so I left empty handed.

Even my favorite retailers aren't quick on lowering their clearance price anymore. I've seen stuff sit at 30% off for weeks now at Target. Must be the economy, which is bad due to high gas prices.

Maybe I should make this blog about what I do to save money on gas.

Good Deals Are Hard To Find

Maybe it's the economy or the high gas prices. I don't know what it could be, but the good deals are getting harder to find. It could be that someone is buying all the good stuff before I get there, but I think it has more to do with the fact that stores are not so quick to cut prices these days because they too are feeling the pinch.

Whatever the reason may be, it has been effecting my ability to update this website.
